Maths was the one subject my 16yo lacked confidence in, particularly as the classes at school moved so quickly that sometimes he hadn’t quite grasped one concept before they moved on to the next. I highly recommend Julia — she is extremely professional and patient, with a kind, calm and engaging way of tutoring. She worked at my son’s pace, ensuring that he understood each problem before moving on to the next. Each session gently built his understanding so by the time GCSEs were upon him, maths was no longer something he couldn’t do, it was something he was ‘OK at’. Julia also went above and beyond to fit in revision sessions before final exams. My son found this 1:1 time absolutely invaluable. I only wish we’d booked sessions with Julia far earlier in his school career!
